seeing like a feminist

"Aaye bhagwan ...besharam ladki, kaise kapde pehen rakhi hai",started judgeing an elderly woman at a bus stop. "No beta ,don't go out its getting dark ",distress a daughter's father ."what is the use of studying maa,how ever you will work for your saas ", unnecessary concern shown by relatives. These are the few instances which commence the taught of feminism.
Feminism is not to destroy the Idea that men should respect women because we are their daughters, sisters, mothers. It is to reinforce the idea that men should respect women because we are people. In  India Desi families be like "my daughter in law better have a bachelor's, a master's and a PhD in astrophysics" but she has to give it up all to look after our man child son.
We often propagate of dowry, marriage, kanydanam, unvalid domestic work to maintain the right order of the society but the question is
"If the order is rigid enough to kill the wants or people then why does it needs it protection"
             OR
"Is it a myth which we have created ourselves?"
Nivedita menon has answered the questions in her book "seeing like a feminist" which focuses on feminist politics, contemporary issues and feminist ways of seeing the operation of gendered modes of Power. The book highlights several contemporary issues which are raised by Gen- Z nowadays.
We can say that this book explains the plight of an Indian woman at every stage of her life, starting from being in the womb to fighting for her rights. One thing that this book teaches us "the world through a feminist lens", sexual division of labour, the cycle of dowry and foeticide, sexual violence, sex and gender, criticism nad i can suggest that the answer to the heretofore mentioned question lies in the non judgemental views of Nivedita menon toward any part of the community, her ability to question the normalised practices and her zeal to change the state of affairs.
